Chilli Pepper Fresno Mix offers medium-height plants with an upright habit, producing fruits that start dark green and mature into an eye-catching display, perfect for both ornamental and culinary use. Each fruit is broader, thinner-walled and slightly hotter than jalapenos, measuring around three centimetres across and seven centimetres long, weighing approximately 18g. Early to flower and ripen, these chillies thrive in full sun and may need support as they reach up to 75cm tall and 50cm wide. You'll receive one seed packet containing six seeds, along with full growing and care instructions, making it easy to enjoy home-grown heat and colour. Sow Chilli Pepper seeds on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp, seed-sowing mix and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place seed trays in a propagator at a temperature of 18-25°C (64-77F) until germination, which takes seven to ten days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination.
