Thompson & Morgan Agapanthus Brilliant Blue 3 Litre Potted Plant - Stunning Blue Flowers - Up to 45cm Height
Thompson & Morgan
Agapanthus Brilliant Blue certainly lives up to its name, producing masses of stunning blue flowers. The blooms appear atop upright stems, rising from clumps of strap-like green leaves, growing in dense groups making for excellent ground cover. The foliage dies back in winter, returning in spring whilst steadily spreading. These also make excellent cut flowers. For best results, grow Agapanthus plants in rich, fertile, well-drained soil, in a sunny spot. When growing Agapanthus in patio containers use a soil-based compost, such as John Innes No.3. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Leave faded flower stems intact to enjoy their architectural seed heads during autumn. When the first frost blackens the seed heads, cut the stems back to ground level. Protect plants outdoors from severe winter weather by providing a dry mulch of bark chips or straw in late autumn. Container-grown plants can be moved to a frost-free position over winter. Divide clumps in spring when they become overcrowded.Product Specifications:.Position: full sun or semi-shade.Height: Up to 45cm.Spread: Up to 50cm.Supplied as a 1 litre pot.Delivered with growing and care instructions. The images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results from plants upon maturity.
