This collection features four different varieties: Calamondin Orange, Lemon, Tahiti Lime, and a Green Fig. These versatile trees are ideal for container growing. Citrus trees thrive outdoors in summer and require protection in winter, ideally in a conservatory or heated greenhouse. The fig tree is more cold-hardy and can be grown outdoors year-round in most UK locations, preferably against a sunny wall. Contents: Tahiti Lime – Abundant seedless limes that turn yellow when fully ripe. Calamondin Orange – Small fruits with a unique bitter-sweet taste. Lemon – Classic fruits that may take up to a year to ripen. Green Fig – Sweet, juicy fruits from August to September. How to Grow: Citrus Trees – Grow in patio containers using a mix of ericaceous and soil-based compost. Keep in full sun and protect from frost. Mist regularly and feed every two weeks with citrus fertiliser. Move indoors for winter. Fig Trees – Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered spot. Restrict root growth for better fruiting by planting in containers or root-limiting beds. Water regularly and mulch annually. Protect from frost in harsh winters. Pruning and Aftercare: Minimal pruning is required. For fig trees, prune in early spring to create a well-shaped bush or train against a wall.
