Each packet contains 500 seeds and comes with clear growing instructions, so you'll have everything you need to get started on your allotment. Height: 30cm. Spread: 25cm. Direct sow swede seeds outdoors from May to June. Grow Swedes in a weed-free, sunny position in non-alkaline, light, fertile, well-drained soil that has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow swede seeds thinly at a depth of one centimetre in drills 30cm apart. Germination will usually take seven to ten days. When large enough to handle, thin out the seedlings within each row to 23cm apart. Position: Full sun. Height: Up to 30cm when fully established. Spread: Up to 25cm when fully established.
