You’ll adore the abundant, pearl-like flower buds that adorn the branches of Exochorda ‘Blushing Pearl’, with their pretty pink glow! Each spring, the beautiful buds burst open to reveal masses of simple, saucer-shaped pure white, single blooms. Flowering reliably each spring, ‘Blushing Pearl’ blooms along the whole branch for a dramatic display. As the blooms fade, the new red shoots appear, unfurling into beautifully incised blue-green leaves. Exochorda are bushy, medium-sized, fast-growing deciduous shrubs with an upright habit and a lovely choice for a sunny border. Height and spread: 2m. Grow Exochorda in any moist, well-drained fertile soil in sun or dappled shade. Exochorda tolerates most soils except for shallow, chalky conditions.
