How to Grow: - For best results, sow seeds directly outdoors from April to May in a sunny location with well-drained soil. Prepare the soil to a fine tilth. - Sow seeds 1cm deep in drills spaced 45cm apart, and cover lightly with soil. Water well. - Germination typically occurs within 21 days. Thin seedlings to about 30cm apart once they are large enough to handle. - Alternatively, you can start seeds indoors in 7.5cm pots from March to April, keeping them at a temperature of 20–25°C. - Gradually acclimatise indoor-grown seedlings to outdoor conditions before planting them out after the last frost. - Water regularly, especially during dry spells, and feed as needed. - Consider staking taller plants to protect them from strong winds.
