B&Q - Wild Teasel Promo New Kew Range 1 Packet (100 Seeds)

Thompson & Morgan

Wild Teasel Dipsacus fullonum is a native wildflower commonly found among grassy countryside verges and bordering the margins of fields. This statuesque biennial has tall, spiky stems topped with cones of purple-pink flowers that attract bees and other insects. After the blooms have faded, the stunning seed heads provide birds with a useful food source and also make wonderful autumnal additions to dried flower arrangements. For the best effect, allow it to self-seed, to create naturalistic drifts. Ideal for the back of perennial borders and wildlife areas. The Kew Pollinators range of seeds from Thompson and Morgan has been specially created alongside the experts at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to attract and support a wide range of pollinators, including bees, butterflies and beetles, as well as a number of other important pollinating insects. Helping these pollinators to thrive is hugely important for our eco-system as a whole and these seeds, in their striking packaging inspired by artwork from the Kew archives, will help to create the environment which they need to thrive, with varieties chosen to help a wide range of pollinating insects, including some night flowering plants to help moths which also play an important part in our gardens.Product specifications:Position: Sun or Semi ShadeHeight: Up to 150cm when fully establishedSpread: Up to 45cm when fully establishedSupplied as 1x Wild Teasel Kew Pollination Collection seed packet (approx. 100 seeds)Flowering period – July to AugustImages shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
