These oval-shaped tomatoes boast a perfectly balanced flavour, combining meatiness, juiciness, sweetness, and acidity. This exceptional variety can produce up to 70 fruits per plant, making it ideal for fresh eating straight from the vine or for versatile culinary use in your kitchen. A significant advantage of Tomato 'Vivacious' is its resistance to blight, promoting a healthier, more robust garden with fewer disease concerns. How to Grow: - Sow seeds on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp seed sowing mix and cover lightly. - Maintain a temperature of 15–20°C until germination, which typically takes 7–14 days. - Once germinated, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm pots, ensuring a minimum temperature of 15°C. - Plant out into your garden after the risk of frost has passed, spacing plants approximately 60cm apart in a location that receives full sun. - Provide support for your plants using canes and tie the main stems as they grow. - Water plants regularly and begin feeding with a high potash fertiliser once the fruits start to set. - Remove any side shoots that appear and pinch out the top of the main stem once 6–7 trusses have formed. - Expect to harvest your delicious tomatoes from July through to October.
