Suttons Seeds marigold French fantasia mix seed gives cheerful mix of single flowers, specially formulated from the very best strains. Colours include a clear lemon and a deep orange as well as interesting combinations of red and yellow. Very well matched for height, habit and flowering time. Dwarf single flowered. Ideal for edging and small beds. Half hardy annual. 15 cm height.Culture: sow February-March under glass in gentle heat. Can be sown direct outdoors in April-May for flowers June-September. Drought resistant. Prefers full sun.Sowing and growing - Sow the seed thinly in pots or trays on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approximate 15 to 20 degree C in a good quality, finely sieved, moist compost, 6 mm deep (Germination 5 to 14 days). Transplant seedlings spacing them 5 cm apart in trays and grow on. Acclimatise to outside conditions and plant them 15 to 23 cm apart in an open, sunny site.
