Lavandula angustifolia 'Munstead', commonly known as English lavender, is a compact shrub celebrated for its aromatic, silvery foliage and abundant dark purple-blue flower spikes. Ideal for gardens, this variety’s neat habit makes it perfect for edging pathways or creating low hedges. Beyond its visual appeal, the fragrant stems are excellent in fresh flower arrangements or dried for potpourri and sachets.Munstead' lavender is highly attractive to pollinators, particularly bees, due to its nectar-rich blooms. Reaching approximately 45cm in height with a 60cm spread, this hardy shrub is relatively low-maintenance and thrives in sunny locations with well-drained soil.Growing tips: Plant in full sun, ensuring at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. It thrives in moderate temperatures, so protect from extreme heat.
