Sow later varieties March-July, and store maincrop roots in dry sand or soil. (12-20 weeks maturity).Sowing InformationSow thinly direct into finely raked, moist, warm soil at a depth of 13mm ( 1?2"). Germination 15-20 days. Allow 30cm (12") between rows. Thin gradually to a final spacing of 5-7.5cm (2-3") between plants. Pull small for salad use. Sow under cloches for early roots.Carrots grow best in a sunny position in well cultivated soil which has not recently been manured.Sowing - Cropping: 12-16 weeks.
