Lime scented green leaves that can be used in cooking, eaten raw or alternatively used to make a delicious herbal tea. Enjoy the leaves, but make sure you leave some stems to flower to attract hordes of bees. Harvest July-October. Cover seeds with 6mm (1/4") sieved compost. Germination 14-21 days. Grow on, planting out when frost risk has passed 23cm (9") apart or windowsill grow in 10cm (4") pots. Can also be sown direct outside at a depth of about 6mm (4"). Grows best in well drained soil in a sunny position. Pinch shoot tips to encourage bushy plants.
