Dwarf green beans for fresh use or drying for winter dishes, pure white dried beans for storing, a good source of protein, antioxidants and fibre.Growing InformationSow in pots or trays on a windowsill or in a greenhouse using a good quality compost. Cover seeds with 4cm (1½") compost. Germination 7-14 days. Grow on, planting outside or protecting with cloches until frost risk has passed, 20cm (8") between plants. Alternatively sow direct into prepared, warm, moist soil at a depth of 5cm (2"), thinning as necessary to 20cm (8") between plants. Allow 60cm (24") between rows. Grows best in rich, well-prepared soil in a sunny position. Water well during dry weather. Grow under cloches, in pots or grow bags in a greenhouse for earliest crops. For dried beans – allow plants to dry out then lift and dry on surface if weather allows or place in a dry greenhouse or garage to dry the pods. Shell beans and store in a cool, dry place until required. Sowing - Cropping: 9-14 weeks.
