Evergreen succulents forming tidy, rounded rosettes made up of colourful leaves and known commonly as ‘Hens & Chicks’, the Sempervivum ‘Chocolate Kiss’ from the Chick Charms ® series is a lovely, compact and tough shrub growing in mat-forming, rounded rosette shapes consisting of waxy, red-brown leaves. These highly attractive plants are a great option for rockeries or container displays due to their colour and symmetric shapes, especially when paired with other varieties of sempervivum. Plant in moderately fertile, well-drained soil and keep in full sun in a sheltered or exposed position. Tolerates most locations, conditions and soil types. Prefers gritty, free draining soil mixes. Highly drought resistant. Susceptible to Winter wet and waterlogged areas.
