Aucuba Marmorata is a bushy evergreen shrub that produces a spotted golden yellow and green, variegated design throughout its leaves. In Spring, stunning purple flowers emerge onto the scene, before the bright range of colour is further added to with gorgeous red berries in the Summer and Autumn months. Aucubas should be planted in moist, well-drained soil and kept in full sun at the best of times. It will not thrive well in waterlogged soil, so avoid overwatering the plant. Once a week watering will suffice until the plant is established. After that period, it will survive periods of drought.
