Sorbus commixta is a deciduous tree that produces eye-catching foliage, fruit and flowers. This tree provides vibrant, Autumn colour, with fluffy, white flowers appearing in Spring and mid-green leaves from May to June. The colour of the leaves then fades into a mix of orange and red as Autumn approaches, which are soon joined by bright red fruits. It is also one of the most popular additions to smaller spaces of your garden. More commonly known as Japanese Rowan, this variety prefers to be grown in fertile, moist and well-drained soil, meaning regular watering is necessary for adequate progression. It can be grown in full sunlight or partial shade. The ultimate height and spread of this Sorbus is 6m in height and 4m in spread, over the course of 20 years.
