Astilbe Short 'n' Sweet Raspberry is a small, clump-forming, herbaceous perennial that is ideal to place in smaller spaces due to its compact size. It has a dense growth habit, with upright clusters of lovely pink flowers during the Summer months of July and August. Sitting at the peak of slim, vertical stems, each bloom will be surrounded by small, divided green leaves with serrated edges. This variety will also reach an ultimate height and spread of 0.5m.Commonly known as False Goat's Beard, Astilbe plants are pretty low maintenance. An area of full sun or partial shade is preferred, as well as being planted in moist, well-drained, loamy soil.
