Geum Fiery Tempest is a deciduous to semi-evergreen outdoor plant with mounds of pinnate, mid to dark green leaves with wiry stems topped with large, saucer-shaped flowers in shades of fiery crimson. In warmer areas, foliage can remain all year, whilst it will die away in colder areas. Flowers begin blooming from early spring and continue into summer. Plant Geum Fiery Tempest in moist, well-drained soil in an area where it will receive full sun or partial shade. These plants are perfect for so many areas in the garden - they’ll grow well in gravel, as rockery plants, in beds and borders, and the vibrant flowers make these perfect cottage garden plants too.
