Buddleia Candy Lila Sweetheart is a charming dwarf shrub with dense foliage. From July to September the plant is covered in panicles of small lilac-purple flowers with bright yellow centres. These little blooms are bursting with nectar, making them irresistible to pollinators such as bees and butterflies - hence the plant’s common name of Butterfly Bush. This is a low maintenance garden plant that is easy to grow. Planted in a sunny spot where the soil is moist but well-drained, buddleia candy lila sweetheart is relatively undemanding.
