Agapanthus Midnight Moon is an excellent plant for patio pots as well as sunny beds and borders. These stunning outdoor plants boast a base of linear, strap-like light green foliage above which tall stems bear eye-catching summer flowers. Blue tinted white blooms open out from dark blue buds and are incredibly detailed with dainty stripes in a deeper shade of blue. The flowers are densely packed, creating a full, vibrant effect. Agapanthuses are bee friendly plants, attracting pollinators into the garden and turning it into a hive of buzzing activity. Also known as African Lily, Agapanthuses are low maintenance perennial plants that are easy to grow and care for. They thrive in full sun in fertile, well-draining soil and are relatively drought tolerant, only needing to be watered during dry spells. After the first frosts, cut the stems back to ground level ready for them to grow back into place the following spring. Agapanthus Midnight Moon reaches an eventual height and spread of up to 50cm.
