A fantastic dwarf variety of Zebra Grass, 'Little Zebra' features distinctive, bright golden-yellow horizontal bands striping across its narrow green leaves. Late in the season, it produces striking, reddish-purple flower plumes that mature to a fluffy, silvery-tan, offering excellent texture and movement in smaller gardens. Plant this ornamental grass in full sun to ensure the striking variegation remains bold and distinct. It is highly adaptable and drought-tolerant once fully established; simply cut the old foliage back to a few inches above the ground before the fresh, banded blades shoot up in the spring. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
