Known as the Prairie Mallow, 'Little Princess' is a charming, compact perennial that resembles a miniature hollyhock, producing upright spires of delicate, saucer-shaped, pale pink flowers. The blooms rise above neat clumps of rounded, lobed basal foliage, bringing a soft, structural elegance to the front of a herbaceous border. It prefers a sunny position and requires fertile, consistently moist but well-drained soil to thrive. To prolong the delicate pink display, remove the faded flower spikes promptly; once the plant has completely finished flowering, cut it back to the basal foliage to maintain a tidy appearance.
