It requires a rich, loamy compost to support its rapid growth rate and heavy, continuous blooming cycles. You must adhere strictly to a 'normal' watering routine to keep the delicate trailing vines from crisping up in the summer wind. Rehydrate the potting mix thoroughly as soon as the top surface loses its dampness, keeping the underlying soil consistently moist and cool. Providing a steady supply of water ensures the pink flower clusters remain large, vibrant, and packed with nectar for the local butterflies.
