The terracotta chunky cotton sweater knit stretch fabric uses a sweater knits base with a plain finish, giving a clear fabric type, colour and design for project planning. The composition is 80% cotton, 20% polyester, and the fabric has comfortable stretch and movement for cutting, sewing and handling. It has a heavyweight feel and measures 150cm wide, so yardage, pattern placement and cutting layouts are easier to plan. The fabric can be washed at 40°c and is suitable for dressmaking projects. Use it for dresses, tops, skirts and shirts, where the handle, width and fibre content can help produce a neat, considered finish.
