Vinyl fabrics are durable, plastic-based materials available in various weights, textures, and colours, used for many purposes. Typically made from a polyester or nylon base with a PVC coating, they offer excellent water resistance and insulation. PVC coatings can be applied to both woven and knitted fabrics for added durability and protection. This is a lovely medium weight fabric ideal for dressmaking. This fabric is available in a great variety of colours and weighs approximately 250 grams per square metre. Suggested Washing Instructions: Wipe down. Please allow 10% shrinkage for all fabrics to be on the safe side and always test a sample first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics. Approx Width: 140cm / 56" - Our fabrics are cut off the roll and will always be sent in one continuous length. If for any reason we cannot send your fabric in one piece we will contact you to discuss the options. For all fabrics we advise washing before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods) to remove any shrinkage
