The MXR reflects our desire to spread the retro running experience of the 2000s from Mizuno, as an extension of the globally recognized Wave Rider 10. The name MXR comes from the Maximizer line, a running shoe range that has been offered for years in our domestic market to provide Mizuno quality to a wide audience. The MXR is an entry-level silhouette, but it stays true to the essence of Mizuno, with a high level of quality and technicality. Special attention has been paid to the new tooling, with a high level of detail and multiple rubber parts that allow for technical colourblocking. The version continues our premium vibe, with a synthetic suede overlay and normcore tones. The mesh is a bit closer to maintain a relaxed, mid-season feel. The design of this model originates from the Maximizer released in 2009, which was dug out from the vast archives of Mizuno during the spread of retro running shoes in the 2000s.
