Description:A solvent‐borne, bituminous compound of a high build consistency containing a small percentage of fibrous filler.Dries to a tough, black coating.UsesAs a heavy brush coating for roof waterproofing and the resealingof existing roofs of mastic asphalt, roofing felt, corrugated ironand fibre/cement slates, lead, copper and zinc. Recommendedwhere the threat of frost or rain precludes the use of an emulsion.PreparationAll surfaces must be structurally sound, clean, dry and free fromsurface contaminants such as grease, rustand dirt. If necessary, remove any organicgrowth i.e. lichen, with afungicidal wash such asBond It MOULD STOP. If thesurface is still dusty aftercleaning, or covered withweathered bitumen, primewith BITUMEN PRIMER andallow to dry.ApplicationSTIR WELL BEFORE USE.Apply ALL WEATHER ROOFING COMPOUND by brush or broom, witheach coat at right angles to the previous one, at a maximum rateof 0.75 litres per m2. Allow each coat to dry thoroughly. Wherenecessary reinforce with either an open woven glass fibremembrane or an open mesh polyester membrane.Note: this material should only be applied to surfaces that arecompletely dry and great care should be taken to ensure thatwhen applied to bitumen felt, no moisture is contained within thefelt.In order to prolong the effective life of the driedcoating, it is recommended that it can beovercoated with Bond It SOLAR REFLECTIVE PAINTbut leave for at least 10 days before applyingthe reflective coating.Drying TimeApproximately 24 hours under average conditions. Allow 24 hoursbetween coats.
