Delicious chopped naked oats, high in protein, oil rich and ideal for soft billed birds like robins and blackbirds. Great for ground feeders, with no waste. Pinhead oatmeal is also a high -energy, easily digestible feed for racing pigeons, rich in carbohydrates and protein to support stamina, muscle repair and performance.They are great when used as part of a particle blend, but can also be used on their own. They are also quite filling, so take care not to over feed. Bait making tip: Prepare by soaking overnight in just enough water to cover the bait – again flavour and sweetener can be used – and then bring to the boil. As soon as the pan has boiled, remove from the heat and allow to cool in the water in which they have been soaked and cooked. As they do so they will absorb much of the liquid.
