Balfour IPA English Session IPA Craft Beer Blended by Winemakers in Kent, England, 4.3% ABV, 6 x 330ml Bottle Case, Honey & Thyme, Biscuity Malt, Vinous Hop Lift for BBQs, Sharing & Gifts
Balfour Winery
FLAVOUR & TASTING: Honeyed copper in the glass, opening with honey and thyme plus a lift of citrus peel. On the palate, nutty, smooth biscuity malts meet soft bitterness, finishing bright with a white wine–like aromatic edge from Boadicea. MADE IN KENT: Made at Balfour Winery, Kent, England, blended by winemakers Owen & Fergus Elias. Built on three Kentish hops—Bramling Cross, East Kent Goldings and Boadicea—matured for flavour harmony with a quietly vinous lift PUSHING BOUNDARIES: At Balfour, winemakers bring a vineyard mindset to brewing, pushing boundaries with each batch. Winemaker Fergus Elias calls it “an IPA for wine drinkers”, with Boadicea’s vinous lift tying the beer back to the estate’s Kent roots AWARDS: Awarded a Bronze Medal at the London Beer Competition 2025 (85 points). Gluten free and vegan friendly. Supplied as a case of 6 x 33cl crown-capped bottles—smart for sharing, host gifting and weekends in PAIR AND SERVE: Serve chilled and pour into a glass to lift honey, thyme and citrus peel. A session IPA made for comfort food—Balfour recommends sausage and mash—while its soft bitterness also complements burgers and roast chicken
