The EazyPod is a compact and efficient mechanical and biological filter system designed for garden ponds up to 20,000 litres and Koi ponds up to 10,000 litres. This filter utilizes K1 Micro media to provide enhanced biological benefits even when used solely for mechanical waste filtration. Available in grey or green, the EazyPod offers ease of installation and operation, along with a quick cleaning cycle. It functions effectively with both pump-fed and gravity-fed setups, making it ideal for quarantine systems, as well as for use as a pre-filter, polisher, or on a skimmer line. Water enters the filter and is first mechanically filtered through a stainless steel grill, allowing large solids to settle at the base. As it flows into the central chamber, finer solids are trapped within the K1 Micro, where biological filtration occurs. The clean water then returns to the pond via the outlet. For cleaning, an air pump is required to agitate the K1 Micro and release debris. While the EazyPod does not include an air pump, the EazyPodAir model comes with a 70 litre per minute air pump. It is recommended to install the filter on a stable, level base, with proper supporting equipment such as a compatible pond pump and necessary piping. With a maximum feed rate of 100 grams per day and a flow rate of up to 10,000 litres per hour, the EazyPod is essential for maintaining a healthy pond environment.
