Chestnut Products Hard Wax Oil\n\nA tough, easy to apply oil which has wax dissolved into it for a harder-wearing surface. The oil is virtually clear and builds easily to a high gloss finish.\n\nTypical uses\n\nEspecially useful for applying to large areas where a tough finish is needed, such as furniture etc. Also used extensively on turnings.\n\nMethod of application\n\nApply onto unsealed timber with a brush or cloth.\n\nDrying time\n\nAbout four hours\n\nCoverage\n\n6 - 8 sq m per litre\n\nCompatibility\n\nCan be applied over Spirit Stains. Best used on unsealed wood\n\nTips\n\nComplies with EN-71 making it safe for use on toys.\n\nThinners\n\nNot normally needed, use White Spirit if required.
