This 10 year old has been matured in first fill bourbon barrels. It has taken a barrel load of delights from the wood delighting with tarte au citron, with a generous helping of Crème Patisserie piped on top. Why not try this release with its sibling from Càrn Mòr's 2022 outturn, Glenburgie 2011 PX Sherry Hogshead? Ed's Thoughts One of the things I love about independent bottlers like Càrn Mòr is their ability to dig out hidden treasures. I think this Glenburgie falls into that camp. It's not a common distillery to come across, and being able to try this classic ex-bourbon matured small batch release is a great opportunity to get to know Glenburgie more.
