This same design is used in both World Chess Championship matches and Grand Prix events. Crafted in the custom moulds using premium plastic, these quality chessmen are perfectly weighted for their size and yield a total weight of 600 grams. The king stands at 3.4 inches and makes it ideal for use by chess clubs and tournaments. The sturdy chessboard measures 17.5 inches and folds into quarters to fit into the rather smart and practical presentation case drawer. The board is notated for recording your moves and matches to review and learn from at a later date. It also allows you to replicate moves and games that have been notated in the past by other players. This set design has been the exclusive choice for over a decade for use in premier tournaments and World Chess Championship matches.
