'Spain' became a further extension of a marriage seemingly made in\nheaven as Davis revelled in settings tailor-made for him by a man totally\nsympathetic to his needs. But we should view this music as a departure from the\nnorm, for, although it was produced in a live situation on occasion, Davis'\nconventional outlet was the small group, two of which you can hear on our\nsecond disc - 'Miles Davis And The Modern Jazz Giants'.
