The Actiasbee National pine beehive is a flat packed hive kit designed for beekeepers looking to build and manage a traditional National hive. Manufactured from durable pine wood, the hive provides a practical and cost-effective solution for outdoor beekeeping.Supplied flat packed, the hive includes all the main structural components required to assemble a working hive. The setup features one brood box and two super boxes, offering space for colony development and honey storage.A Varroa mesh floor with a slide-out inspection tray is included, allowing for monitoring of pests and debris without disturbing the hive. The entrance block with summer and winter settings helps regulate airflow and hive access throughout the seasons.All boxes come with metal runners, improving durability and helping to protect the wood during frame handling. The hive also includes a queen excluder to separate brood from honey supers, and a 4" roof with aluminium cover for added weather protection.Please note: Frames and wax foundation sheets are not included and must be purchased separately.
