The Barnes & Mullins Kazoo is made of metal and brings forth a powerful sound. This gold-coloured wind instrument has a durable, hygienic finish and is perfect for a break or solo and was famously used by Jimi Hendrix to double the hook of 'Crosstown Traffic' to ingenious effect. The kazoo is played by humming through it, which causes a small membrane to vibrate, resulting in a sharp zooming tone. The higher you sing, the quirkier the effect. A lovely little instrument with an occasionally hilarious, but nice sound.
