Our Shepherd's Crook range features a delicate and traditional design that's only achievable through the skills of our master Blacksmiths.Designed to fit casement windows and to match the products in our Shepherd's Crook range.Our handmade fasteners are forged from mild steel, giving them unrivalled strength and an abundance of character.These fasteners are handed, so it's important to make sure you choose the correct hand. From the inside looking out, if your window is hinged on the right hand side then a right hand fastener is required and vice versa.Includes a mortice plate and hook plate for different fitting options.The locking mechanism operates by way of grub screw.Supplied with matching SS wood screws.Beeswax is our most authentic finish for steel. After forging, these products are dipped into hot beeswax which allows them to retain their original colours ranging from blue to deep ochre. All our Beeswax ironmongery offers a subtle matt richness and is a more natural, and far softer, alternative to a black powder coated finish.
