All of our Mexican tiles are 'Talavera', a traditional and famous style of majolica earthenware, distinguished by its white base glaze.\n\nWhere your handmade Talavera tiles can be used: Our tiles can be installed in a variety of situations such as kitchen back splashes, bathroom splash backs, fireplaces, light duty counter/table tops, stair risers, and hallways. They are water resistant and so can be used in \u201Csemi wet\u201D situations (such as splash backs) but not in \u201Cfully wet\u201D conditio.
