Perfect for all types of paints. TECHNICAL DEFINITION CE 78 JOINT FILLER is a powder filler designed specifically for jointing tapered edge plasterboard in combination with a joint tape. Working time: 60 minutes COMPOSITION AND APPEARANCE Powder filler based on plaster, calcium carbonate, resin and various additives. The paste obtained is white. SUITABLE SUBSTRATES All types of plasterboard with or without insulation (glass wool, rock wool, polystyrene) with tapered edges and paper face. COVERING • Primer undercoat for plasterboard. • Plaster-based smoothing filler. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS • Setting time: 1 hour. • Strip adhesion: > 1,000 g. • Cracking: no cracking up to 5 mm thickness. • Density: 0.9. • A1 class reaction to fire. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE The temperature during application and drying must be between 5 and 30° C. Do not apply to damp substrate. Do not use mix that has begun to set. PREPARATION OF SURFACE Plasterboard must be attached in conformity with DTU 25.41 and 25.42. Cuts made into plasterboard must be on the bevel and dusted. MIXING FACTOR From 10 to 11L of water per 25 kg sack. 1 volume of water + 2,5 volumes of powder.
