Each acoustic tile is sized 12\"" (305mm) by 12\"" (305mm) and they have a peak thickness of 1 1/2\"" (40mm). One box of tiles will cover an area of 24sqft (2.23sqm). The tiles are precision cut and on average will absorb 55% of the sound waves. The colour of these studio foam tiles is dark grey.\n\nWhat Are The Benefits?\nThe egg-box or egg-crate profile is a simple profile that is synonymous with studios. They are a cost effective way of treating a studio whilst still offering adequate performance. The random nature of the profile means it's often best to leave a 10mm gap between each tile.
