Located in the Gu\u00E9rande region of France, the salt is traditionally farmed in the salt marshes by allowing sea water to pass through a succession of clay ponds. As the water gradually evaporates, the salt contained within the water is concentrated until it eventually crystallizes, at which point it can be harvested. The salt has a light grey colouring to it that comes from the natural clay used to line the drying ponds. The resulting salt is a delicious, pure and natural sea salt, free from any additives, containing over 80 minerals naturally present within Atlantic sea water.\n\nNew packaging less plastic same product
