The Shadow Carbon comes with remote control and has six variable heater settings to ensure you can find the right balance for whatever situation you need to deal with. Performance Features Equipped with ‘L’ bracket for wall mounting + hinge to allow positioning. Equipped with hanging chain. Long life carbon far infrared lamp with 5,000 to 7,000 hours life. Operate the heat output by variable remote control. Equipped with 1.8m of electrical cable and UK plug (maximum allowed under EU regulations). Special reflector with scientific parabolic system for top efficiency. Safety guard. Heater body in solid black anodised aluminium or solid silver anodised aluminium. The heater must be mounted in a well ventilated area. There must be at least a 0.4m clearing between the heater and ceilings / roofs There must be at least a 0.5m clearing between the heater and adjacent walls / fabrics There must be at least a 1.8m clearing between the bottom edge of the heater and the floor When using a 3kW heater in commercial premises or other locations where the heaters are used continuously for long periods of time then it is advisable to consult an electrician. A 3kW heater used for long periods of time may need to be hard wired into a 20A fused spur rather than used in a standard 13A socket.
