Pack of 24 x excellent quality, British made Jam Jars with fully airtight and vinegar proof lids. These jars are perfect for all jams, jellies, marmalades, chutneys, pickles, relishes and sauces. 1lb (370ml) Jam Jars are the most common size of glass jar that you might typically see in the supermarket. Glass Jars (not plastic) are recommended for use when preserving and food storage. Glass Jars will not leach chemicals or degrade over time. Glass jars are also fully recyclable. The lids on these jam jars are BPA/Chemical free and are approved for use by the FSA (Food Standards Agency). They are entirely airtight when sealed. These can be sterilised in the dish washer or oven. If using the oven wash them first then sit them on a baking tray in the oven at 110 degrees for 10 minutes. Lids can be blanched in boiling water.
