A jewel in the Maison Pommery & Associés portfolio, Pinglestone Estate took root in 2017 with the first plantings of what has now become 40-hectares of enchanting vineyards From selected plots of our estate in Hampshire, where the same chalk bed from Champagne dominates the soil. Louis Pommery England is produced by traditional method with a classic Champagne blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier As proud members of Sustainable Wines of Great Britain, we have a strong focus on biodiversity and land stewardship, with the textured tapestry of agroecology forming the bedrock of our regenerative farming approach. Nose: The first sensation is freshness with finesse, led by citrus and Cox apple notes. The nose further develops showing aromas of blackcurrant and white fruit followed by a hint of honey. Palate: Notes from the nose are built on and amplified, led by citrus and honey, resulting in beautiful balance and rich harmony of aromas. The refreshing fruit notes of pear and white peach are followed by toast and honeycomb that soften the finish, showing outstanding length.
