The Actiasbee National Cedar Beehive Starter Kit provides a complete setup for anyone looking to begin beekeeping with a traditional National hive design. Supplied flat packed for convenient delivery, this kit includes the key hive components needed to establish and manage a colony.Made from durable cedar wood, the hive offers natural weather resistance and long-lasting outdoor performance. The kit includes a full brood chamber and two supers, allowing space for both colony development and honey storage as the hive expands through the season.The brood box is supplied with 11 frames and wax foundation sheets, while the two super boxes include 22 frames and foundation sheets, ensuring the hive is ready for bees once assembled.For effective hive management, the kit also includes a metal queen excluder, helping to separate the brood area from the honey supers. The gabled roof is finished with an aluminium cover for additional protection against rain and general weathering.An integrated Varroa mesh floor with a slide-out inspection tray is included, allowing monitoring of pests and debris within the hive.
