The low-gain version means you will be able to get greater headroom and make more use of the volume knob. The gain reduction is around 50-60% but still retains the full tonal integrity of the amp.\n\nNote: This is also the correct kit for the later \u201957 Custom Deluxe Reissue, which was produced from 2016 onwards.\n\nSo this superb low-gain valve kit contains:\n\n--1 x Selected Premium Grade JJ 121AY7 preamp valve for position V1.\n\n--1 x Selected P.
