Wire mesh has lots of uses: making a cost-effective, easy to erect fence to dog proof your gardens, protecting your crops from rabbits and hares and even to fox proof your aviaries and chicken runs.Aviary mesh is always rectangular or square. In addition to aviaries, it can also make a denser and neater fence in a garden. It can also be used on the bottom section of a post and rail fence.Rolls come in many different height and lengths – we do wire mesh from 90cm through to 1.8m tall in 25m and 50m lengths. Aviary mesh comes in both 6m and 30m lengths and are all 90cm (3ft) tall, except for our super strong 1.2m tall x 2 inch (50mm) mesh which is required to be used for dog runs.All of our wire mesh is fully galvanised to give years of service. For best results use a line wire on the top and bottom of your mesh fence and then use cable ties to tie your mesh to the line wire – this will stop pets and animals from pushing under the fence. Aviary mesh is a square or rectangular mesh . It is ideal to use for aviaries, cages and runs for small pets including Rabbits, Guinea Pigs and Hamsters.We do two lengths – 6m and 30m rolls, and there are three hole sizes – 1 inch (25mm) square, 1 inch x 1/2 inch (25mm x 12.5mm) and 1/2 inch (12.5mm) square.They can easily be neatly folded around edges and are a fairly lightweight mesh but strong enough for dog proofing.We also stock a 30m roll of 1.2m tall 2 inch (50mm) square mesh which is super strong. It is the specification you have to use if you have a dog run or pound for looking after dogs professionally. This is also ideal to use for a good strong garden fence.
