SUMMER COLOUR - Lavender are popular, aromatic, drought-tolerant garden plants. They are easy to grow and associate well with other shrubs, perennial plants and roses. It produces masses of fragrant purple/blue flowers during the Summer on wiry spikes above silver-grey or grey-green foliage. This lavender plant can be used for cooking in the kitchen due to its amazing flavours.PLANTING POSITION - All lavender must have good drainage and close to full sun. They prefer poor soil and will thrive in exposed coastal sites. When established, they are pretty much totally drought-tolerant, but in the first and second year you should water them as you would any other new shrub to make sure they establish well.HEIGHT AND SPREAD - This plant will grow to a height of about 0.5-1 metres with a spread of 0.5-1 metres.
