70cl / 46.50% - A rather exciting arrival here, it's the second-ever single malt whisky from the community-owned GlenWyvis distillery, located in the valley of Ben Wyvis mountain in the Scottish Highlands. Sustainably distilled in 2018 from locally grown Concerto barley, this single malt was then filled into a selection of ex-Tennessee whiskey barrels, oloroso sherry hogsheads, and refill Scotch whisky casks to mature. A patient wait followed, whilst the new make rested and evolved into this extremely impressive young Scotch, bottled up in 2022.
