The wood used here is hibiscus wood which has a natural two-tone effect with the darker grain being slightly green. Hibiscus is a fantastically tactile wood being being silky smooth to the touch. The carving has been lightly waxed to enhance the wood. A perfect gift for all frog lovers. As with all carvings keep away from heat sources such as radiators to ensure the wood does not over dry. Please be aware that due to the nature of the wood grain all these frogs vary slightly.
